My new fashion styles came in, so I thought I'd gather everyone together for some photos. :D So many colors! So much hair and plastic! Hopefully someday they'll come out with styling size fakies too, just so I can get the full possible range represented... I guess the G3.5 fakies would do, but they're awfully expensive.

Congrats! I really like that yellow Rarity-pose fakie blind bag with the purpley hair the best, but they are all cute additions to your fakie rainbow! :lovey: :rainbow:

SeashellInBubbles: Not Taobao specifically, but yeah, Chinese sellers on various sites. I don't live anywhere that has fakies for sale on physical store shelves, or at least not ones like this that are such deliberate knockoffs right down to the molds. And the babies are great! They seem like they're pretty uncommon so far, but I was able to get them for really cheap, I suspect because the seller entered the wrong price and didn't notice until later. So now I have a filly alicorn :)

Puzzlemint! Shown here with one of her favorite books and a tiny version of herself. Strictly she's not my first G3 toy--I've got a couple breezies somewhere, plus a McDonald's Minty, and a Sunny Daze passed through my possession between an old box of somebody else's toys and eBay--but she's the first proper full-on G3 pony that I intend on keeping around for the time being. She's a great mix between a character I enjoy and a color scheme I like, as opposed to, say, Thistle Whistle, who's wonderful but just not as pretty. :( Anyway, wooo Puzzlemint! Mysteries and british accents time!

Congrats on your first regular G3 pony! She's very pretty, and I love her mini-me. I like your fakie collection, too, especially the ones in the top row on the left. Their eyes are so cute.

Backstory: Around four months ago, We Love Fine held a contest around the announcement of their "Watch in Awe" Trixie figure, where the first person to solve a number of riddles and find the release image on their website would win the prototype. That person was me. Flash forward four months: people are now receiving the actual figure from their preorders and they decided to send me the prototype now that they're not actively using it anymore, or something, I guess. No unboxing shots because she didn't come in any sort of interesting packaging, although they did include a little pamphlet about how to take care of their t-shirts, which I'm sure will be tremendously helpful.

I don't know at the moment how she differs from the final release, apart from not having a cutie mark. The WLF page says that "star pattern decals for cape and hat will ship with figure" (I didn't get any), but on the other hand her Taobao photos clearly show stars attached, so I'll have to wait and see on that one. Weighs about 4.5 ounces IIRC.
