Greetings and salutations to you all!

I am known as Kallistra, I am 25 and from the United Kingdom.

My love of ponies started with the G2 line back in 1995-ish, I know most people hate/ dislike them because of their drastic appearance change from G1, but they have, and will always have, a special place in my heart.

Because of that, I mostly collect G2's, currently hunting for common duplicates so I can try my hand at customising. But now I'm open to collecting from all gens.

I confess that I never used to like the G2 ponies much, but since seeing some of the wonderful G2 collections that our members have, I am now a convert.  I honestly never realized they made so many of them and how pretty many of them are.  And then there are the cute babies too

G2 is a lovely generation; I am sure you will find more people who like them than dislike them here on the Arena. They have some of the cutest accessories and playsets. Have fun on the forums!

Hi there, nice to meet you!! ^-^

It was actually G2's that got me into collecting back in the day. When I was in high school I was very surprised one day to see MLPs on the shelves at Toys R Us (G2s of course)!! But they looked sooo different from what I grew up with. Still, they intrigued me and I did end up buying quite a few. After a little while I figured out they just couldn't replace G1s in my heart, so I started collecting G1s and gave away all the G2s. I kind of regret that now because I do think G2s have their own special charm about them.
