Official (?) G4 Blind Bag/Mini thread

So, I'm getting really sick of seeing Blind bag discussion scattered over umpteen jillion different threads, every time a new wave comes out. I know we have the KO thread, and I know I am new, but if it is okay, I'd like to start one single thread to discuss the Blind Bagged ponies.

I love these things. They're all I collect. And was back in the early, early days, I was writing to Hasbro seemingly constantly, telling them that the Blind Bags were easy, simple molds that they could do a thousand variations on, and never run out of repaints. Glad to see that eventually had the same thought (after a few missteps) I'm still waiting on my Twilight/Colgate with Pith helmet though.

i love blind bags too. it's the only part of g4 aside from customs i collect.
they are cute fun and i'm super excited for the wave that has flash sentry in it.

So, is everyone finding wave 10 okay? (I keep counting it as 11) I really wish they'd number them. Or give us some warning before they drop.

I dunno if I agree, the last couple of waves there were ALOT of repeats, not rePAINTS but repeats. I understand the main 6, but honestly we don't need the blue stallion and Big Mac AGAIN in the waves? or the ooo look we took the see through pony from set x and covered it in glitter for set y.

I was in love with Blidbags in the beginning but now I'm bored of them with all the repeats. There are a few I want but they never seem to get any new waves at any of my stores anymore. The argument between blindbags and brushables was "oh the blindbags offer so many more characters" but now they're all becoming repeats as well.

I know the last set I saw in stores was the one with the new Fluttershy mold, and MR. Cakes both of which were available in the special sets as well. (more repeats) But that was at one store, once, and then it went back to the wonderbolt set. :/ and a good bit of my stores stopped carrying them at all. Not to mention the price jump, thats some crap.

Like I said I loved blindbags but they are getting so bad I am loosing interest quick. Hasbro is loosing some money.

Now which one is wave 10? I am looking for the purple pegasus boy set I would like to get him (sadly he's about the only one I want from that wave, snips and snails look awful :x not to mention how come they get releases before sweetie belle and scootaloo? WTF?)

When new cute ones do come out I'm all about them but repeats no thank you.

We have general spam threads for topics which do not exist in the volume/popularity of blind bags - Funko and 4DE - or items which would be confusing if widely spread or clog up the forum by being posted multiple times - the Gameloft App.

Blind bags and mini figs packs exist in large numbers in the line so far and probably even more to come, one single thread on all of them seems a little odd. It would be like having one thread just to talk about brushables. We dont have that many blind bags threads anyway; other than the fakie one which has just been bumped today there were no others even on Page 1. And its not like the information is spread all over; the information tends to be individual threads per wave or perhaps per unique mould find.

If there is collective community interest in there being one core thread then that's no problem; but we will merge all other blind bag/mini figure topics in here and lock others which are opened. Otherwise this thread is redundant.

Ugh. So jealous of everyone finding wave 9/10.
We still don't have wave 9, but every single store has a million of the wave 8 bb's! I'm getting frustrated.
