...what in the world? Did the box look opened at all, or was it really shipped that way?

Saw the Royal Surprise Set with Queen Chrysalis replaced with Noteworthy. Just like this set had some ponies replaced. So sad that people will do this.

Yeah, the bad thing about the packaging on these mini sets is that the plastic bubble overlaps the back & is just taped on. It's like they're begging the less scrupulous to steal tiny ponies!

Wooow, that's awful!  I've never heard of anyone doing this.  Part of me really hopes they get caught and banned.

This has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen- I mean really what's the point? Instead of buying 3 random BB figures, you would think someone would just to buy the set you want...

They're from this set, though -- they can't be bought individually. (Well, except the Rainbow Dash.) Presumably someone wanted that set for figures other than those particular three. Can't totally blame them... Pick-a-Lily is probably my least favorite of the lot too.

I can blame them for what is essentially theft. We don't know where the other blind bag characters came from - perhaps just ones they didn't want from a bigger set. Either way they should have just bought the set and then kept it...not replaced items and returned it for a refund in order to keep the ones they want for free. That's stealing.

I'm shocked at how many stories I hear about opened blind bags and things like that. In all my time of buying blind bags I've never come across any preopened ones

This is a Tesco store - and this is how blind bags are stocked in 2 of my local Tesco supermarkets. I had mentioned it in threads before when this discussion comes up, but packing blind bags in cd/dvd security cases is becoming pretty common in a lot of big supermarkets here unfortunately.

Oddly it only ever seems to be MLP blind bags this is done with and all the others sit in their boxes on shelves quite happily.

I've never seen remnants of stolen bb's either.  Funny enough, every now and then I see blind boxed collectibles (and very rarely ponies) open, loose, and ready to be taken, but still intact from some inconsiderate collector who really wanted to know what they were buying.  Way to ruin the surprise for everyone else and make a mess for the employees!  *shakes fist*
