SDCC exclusive - EXCLUSIVES ON HASBRO TOYSHOP

I just pulled out my small princess ponies and my Design-a-Pony, and the exclusive is most likely on a Design-a-Pony base. The legs are quite a bit different!

I am really torn on this exclusive. I loved the Power Ponies because it mixed two of my favourite things! I would be happy to grab this exclusive, but not for a $50 price tag. The two doll Monster High set is only $40, and the Ever After High doll is $30. Both of these are much more detailed and special than the pony exclusive.

It's possible it's a DaP that was remolded to get rid of the nasty lumps... Spike confuses me though then

lol were gonna try   maybe   having more then one perosn who can  paint the symbol might be a good idea.  if the others are up for it ^^ and anyone else who wants to help lol

Good idea.  I'm more concerned with getting bases.  I know we can use any, but it takes time to find them and I would rather use the cheaper Easter ones if possible.

Unfortunately, my painting skills are untested so I will pass. :x I know the organizer of the Fair is a member of the Arena. Someone ought to reach out to them and let them know about this.

have any sites said yet if this year's exclusive has poseable hair? It's hard to tell in the photo and it doesn't say in any of the descriptions I've seen. And $50 is a lot!!

It's typical that the one year I have a friend going to SDCC the exclusive would be something I'm not even sure if I want At least the monster high and ever after high exclusives this year are awesome

Oh, that explains the one weird little short tendril covering the side of her face - to cover the plug/ridge there in the DAP mold.

Eh, it's got to be partially modified anyway, so why not remove the plugs? Like, this is what the DAP mold looks like under the hair pieces, and you can bet the exclusive isn't going to have those same issues:

They just took the already existing standing pose Spike and repainted him, adding a stupid cape! The pony is ridiculous...what a POS.

also her tentacles seem to be in a different position in this other pic so I'm thinking they're posable.

Yea I think they are, I for sure want her now, that first picture was a bad representation, Spike looks really cute. Anyone getting one they don't want feel free to message me.

Not feeling this one.  She was only in, what, one episode?  I guess I can understand because of the comic-book theme of that episode, but I just don't feel this one.  She's cute though and I like the super-Spike.
