Is it possible to change the place of shipment during an ebay auction?

Okay, the topic title might be confusing sorry for that

I never ever bid on an auction that doesn't state that the seller ships to my country - or contact the seller prior to bidding/buying to ask about it. So at the moment I'm kind of astounded that the auction I've won shows me that it only ships to one country where the seller is located, when I'm sure it showed 'Europe' when I found the auction. Is it possible to change it during the auction? I've tried to check it on ebay but they help wasn't helpful at all

I am pretty sure you can. If you go back into the listing, eBay puts a time stamp somewhere in there if the listing has been modfied. I believe it is in pretty small print when you scroll down by the tab that says description. That can be a sure way to tell if in fact they did change it after you bid.

Aaaah, thanks Yeah, I've found it. I also got the total from the seller and paid without problems, so it got resolved pretty quickly

And don't worry, it made sense *gives you a mug of coffee anyway*
