Hello guys & gals!
I just joined this forum to get more information about cleaning & restoring older ponies.
I do not have ANY ponies right now *gasp* but I'm working on that.
I had a large childhood collection of 1980's MLP that I am trying to track down. Neither one of my parents seems to have any clue where my giant trunk of ponies disappeared to - so until I can go hunting for it myself, I took comfort in the instant-gratification that is eBay. I have a bunch of auction wins on their way
so I am excited about that.
I've been in love with MLP since they first came out & had dozens of them. I am afraid to see what condition they are in now (if I can ever track them down!) since one of my favorite childhood pastimes was taking all the ponies into the bathtub with me! So, yeah, not expecting to find too many in pristine condition, and I am expecting there to be a lot of cleaning & TLC needed.
I look forward to reading all your tips & tricks for restoring old ponies to their former glory. I love seeing pictures of all the ponies people have collected, as well.
