Grabbed Lyra and Fluttershy minis (it's lovely being in a country where the supermarkets stock this kinda thing and comic stores are alive and well!). I really like the miniature ones, actually. I got a full size Lyra, gave up on finding a flawless one lol (how do they screw up painting one single, fat stripe? geez).

It's a shame I'll have left before series 2 come out, as I want both Twilies, black Trixie and Discord and Daring Do, but ah well xD In good time!

I had a Twilight figure I got for repainting purposes, and I hadn't noticed they forgot to put the stripes on her tail on one entire side. :/ It was just blank. I had been there assuming Funko had just gotten lazy and didn't paint the one side of her tail until I looked at my other (regular) twilight and saw her tail was painted on both sides. e_e;

I mean, I repainted her tail anyway since she was the one I was editing, but it is a bit ridiculous they let stuff like that slip through too. I wish I had noticed in the store before I bought her, or else I wouldn't have picked that one. ;

I still need to get Applejack and Big Mac glitters from ebay. I wish their prices would go down some more. sigh. I don't even want to think about trying to get the Sweetie Drops and Spitfire ones.

I've been attending Crystal Fair convention here in Finland this weekend and I got crystal Dr. Whooves from there. Kinda having a small buyers remorse because of the price. One seller there had a crystal Fluttershy I'd really want, but price was horrible (80 euros approx. $110). Though I did buy a German Burger King Fluttershy from him as it was reasonable priced and good addition to my Fluttershy collection.

OH well that was not much of a surprise.  Guess I'm glad that it's Spitfire and not RD, who was the more obvious choice.  I'm not surprised in the least at the SDCC choice, since Funko traditionally just does a new material/pose/color of an existing character for their exclusive (they are a super tiny company so this is probably related to production cost)

So glad this year that SDCC has been a disappointment when it comes to pony merch...my wallet is happy for a change during this time.

Yeeeah, I'm totally safe from ponies this Comic Con. They are a 2000 pieces release! Wow last year's glitter RD & Pony were only 1008 pc and they are still pretty easy to come by. These are gonna be available for quite some time.
