Do you just call your store and ask if they have a certain glitter figure? AJ is the only glitter I have wanted in ages but I don't want to be bled dry by eBay scalpers.

Yea you can try that most stores will help you out, side note I wouldn't call them ebay scalpers, the fact is only 4% of the ponies are glitter ponies so they are more rare which is where there price increase comes from, with supply and demand for them there isn't as many supplied so there is a higher demand so thats where the prices come from.

Side note where in the WORLD are the Big Mac glitters I have only seen like 1 online, and tons of AJs!

People who buy items simply to sell them on at a marked up price, are scalpers. No matter what way you look at it. Even though only 4% of the ponies are glittery, they are still sold at the same retail price as the regular ponies. Therefore someone buying, marking it up and selling it on to a collectors for more than the same collector would pay if they discovered that pony on shelf is doing something which is the bane of many collectors existence and it is scalping.

Now buying multiples in order to get a glitter and then selling on those spare is fair enough and something lots of people are going to do. Thats not scalping, because there is no interest in profiteering from fellow collectors.

Glitter Bon Bon is in 1/24 or whatever, not an Amazon exclusive, right? :3 That's really lucky! I wish I knew how to get her. I was hoping to snag a AJ/Big Mac glitter to trade, but no luck. I may try again tomorrow. How often do stores re-stock?

yes , for 6 months, then they will be at other retailers, even walmart is getting the ones that came out like 2 years ago now

I have absolutely no luck getting glitters. I end up buying all of mine on ebay, sadly, and I've never paid less than $40 + shipping.

Got my (regular, yay!) pair in the post today, & just want to say I love 'em!  QC seems to be nicer on these as well. Great job, Funko, keep it up!

I am now having fits imagining Funko producing Apple Bloom & Granny Smith at some distant point in the future...Yow.
