My Latest Deflock

I got her covered in black mold. I tried to just clean her flocking but it wouldn't come out. Stubborn glue and flocking aside, I'm glad to finally have gotten her pretty again and a part of my collection!

I have an Angel, Shady, North Star, and Magic Star all begging me to do this.  I would love to know your method.  You Angel is amazing!!!  Did you use the guide on the forum?

My method was pretty simple. First a long soak in warm/hot water, then I scrape the flocking and glue off with my nails (body dismantled so that she could air dry) and after several sessions of this I wiped the remainder off with acetone. There's a bit by her scalp I still need to work at a bit more but my nails are to the nubs I also did Bouncy recently and managed to save her factory curl in the process.

That's great work! I have Bouncy, Hippity-Hop, Paradise and Lofty to do LOL. I need to do one per month max because nothing works quite so well as my thumbnail and mine aren't very strong. I might try a lolly stick or something next time. Was using a cuticle stick around the wings last time on BW. Will let you know how I get on.
