Definitely cheaper plastic-  my newer g4 mold fakies are only a couple of years old and have large discolored areas already.  These ponies are BEGGING for customization!

I have not made any progress on my ponies in forever. I need to get my butt in gear! :faint: I've picked color schemes out, at least! ... even if I can't decide between them! :P

I'm in the same boat  :blush: what makes my ever postponing even worse is that I know exactly what I want to do with my pony, it's just a matter of putting my butt down on that chair next to the table...
I'm planning to work on her this weekend.
(and yes, I know I have said the same thing last week as well... )

So when I came home last night from school, I found my fakie had been chewed on. Not all parts but those that I spend some time really sculpting hard on, oh yay for my cat. I spent the rest of the time gluing it back together.  :cry:

I managed to glue it all together, but I am worried that the cracks may show though the paint.
This is the first time my kitty ever chewed on a pony, so I guess I have to hide my projects when I'm not working on them. :(

Haha, he finds everything yummy or fun to steal. I'm glad he didn't steal it though, my kitty usually hides things under the couch for some reason.  :shrug:

Well I tried my first set of sculpted wings on my Hasbro fakie-  I am sorry to say they looked quite messy.  I tore them off, figured out another strategy- and started again!  I think they look much better now but are taking forever-  I think maybe I should have gone with fewer feathers, hehe....I hope I get done in time with this one!
