So, how's it going?  Ya'll have given me a massive fakie addiction!  I'd post pics of what I have acquired but it's almost embarrassing!  Fakies are unique and cheap, I can't buy just one!

These have just had their little molded bridles painted and a bit of a clean up.  It's weird, they used to seem hideous to me, now they are beautiful!

been home for a week, but no progress as my daughters have been really sick...had to take one to the hospital last night.

Grrr... my fakie does not longer like my customizing ideas and decided to get filthy everytime I want to grab her to work on again! This is so frustating, I think I'll have to quit if she doesn't behave!

I have finished sculpting the kimono on the dg fakie baby (hasbro mold), so after a little sanding both fakies will be ready for paint!

I almost melted mine when I took paint of as the plastic didn't handle acetone too well.

Ok... my fakie has got the pony equivalent of Vitiligo with varnish. I'll have to quit her from the contest, but tomorrow I'll fetch a cute pair of fakies I've seen in an one-dollar store. I'll post pics of them as soon as I buy them, and also a photo of my other fakie, since I won't submit her to the contest.

I had been looking forward to receiving something I'd ordered off ebay that I thought would be awesome to use... but it turned out to be WAY too big and utterly useless.  So... stifling my disappointment and will proceed with modified plan this weekend....

I'm rapidly learning that fakies are WAY different to work with compared to MLP and McD's figures...

They have some funky plastic that is seeming to be more sensitive, in my case it worked better than sanding the base as the acetone kind of smoothed/melted it..
