Yep-  it's causing quite a stir on the Jem sites.  I am trying my BEST not to be pessimistic about it but honestly the plot line sounds terrible to me and nothing at all like Jem.   

They are going to ruin Jem.

Well now it looks like they have a director and are aiming for a fast-track release next Spring.

How old was Jem in the 80's?

I'm not sure if they ever said how old Jem was but I would say she was in her early 20's

Am slightly disappointed - all the time and effort into Equestria Girls where we have Twilight and the Horseygrams...would have been nice if Jem had been given the new EQG story line and effort. This feels...ummm...rushed and a little pushed into a particular genre.
