My first G1 display case!

I am so so picky about displaying my G1s that I have 99% of them in storage to protect them from dust, sunlight and most of all in my house - animal fur - - and I finally finally found a tiny little display case that meets my requirements of having glass doors (haha I'm too cheap to buy expensive NEW display cases yet...)

It's so small I can only fit my sea pony collection in there... But I really wanted to share as I had a ton of fun trying to get all these gals to stand (sheesh I really need to get the rest of the floats/shells, haha! Easier said than done...) and since it's my first piece of my collection I am actually able to display (since I really consider G1s my "collection" and all other gens are just "because they're MLP" basically, haha)

So, anyway I wanted to share

Closed doors (yes it needs a bit of TLC but for the price, I think I can work with it, haha )

It really makes me happy to go into my pony room and see this little bit of my G1 collection on display. Finally can show all their shells/floats/brushes/ribbons off! I am figuring on building some risers that fit the shelves better... so I can use a bit more of the head-space in each shelf area... I have a complete US Sea Pony collection minus floats and shells, and the UK adults but still need to work on getting all the others!

That's a perfect size for the seaponies!  Congrats on finding it (and what a lovely collection too!).

Thanks all! The scary part comes when I try to multiply the amount of space that the sea ponies use in that cabinet for ALL the other ponies I need to display one day.

And it's also scary when the cats sneak into the pony room... if they try to jump on that cabinet, Oh Boy!

Also have to say I'm pretty sure once I start getting bigger display cases for the rest of my collection, I will never have to buy Ziplock bags again... lol!
