Even more G3 pony poses

Let's look at the new poses introduced in the 2004 releases. I remember being fairly excited by the releases coming out that year. It was also my first year at the Arena and a great place to get the news on the new releases. I was so swept up in the pony collecting fun. Even more so than when I was a child, perhaps.

I loved the Jewel ponies, the Sparkle ponies are kind of fun. The babies had this awkward cuteness that I find appealing. I didn't really know what to make of the rearing ponies with the ice skates at the time, but I didn't realize that Star Catcher is pretty much the same mold until I started preparing this poll. Pretty cool.

There are still more poses to go through with the Butterfly Island releases, but we will get to those in a subsequent poll.

Oh yeah! I realized I didn't mention my favorites. Those would be the Gem Blossom and the Crystal Lace poses, but I really do like all four of those jewel pony poses. (Well, maybe the Periwinkle pose feels a teensy bit awkward, but I like it anyway.)

Once mom said pony in perrywinkle pose is like cockroach  I  agree it`s something about her legs. But she is winning so far !

I hate the G3 babies because they look so odd. Why are the bottom of their legs so fat? Anyway, I voted for Gem Blossom pose, Periwinkle pose, and Valenshy pose.

I voted Periwinkle I don't like the Crystal Lace pose at all though I love that pony.

I love the Crystal Lace pose.
Didn't think much of it when I saw it in pictures, but now that I own a pony in that pose...... oh my gosh it's so adorable!

Periwinkle for me, too

I think Shenanigans has a point, the Crystal Lace pose simply must be inspired by the Flehmen response, lol. It's a weird one and I'm not overly fond of it but it makes some great customs. The same goes for the Valenshy & Gem Blossom poses.

I don't care for G3 babies either, nor the rearing pose... (Ack, I feel horribly picky now! )

Whaaaaat?!  So little love for the rearing pose?!  But...but...it's REARING!  *falls over*  That's one of my top favourite poses ever, for any horse, Hasbro or otherwise.  I actually didn't pick the Periwinkle pose, but it was a tough call between it and the Gem Blossom pose, but...I like Gem Blossom's pose just a little bit more than Periwinkle's.
