Some local finds and an amazing non-pony brag!

I've had some wonderful luck at my local flea markets over the last several months. Unfortunately, it's waaay too much to try to pull out and take pictures of. Here are my most recent finds, though.

All ranged from .50 to $1 and came from a few regular vendors who know me as "that pony girl". lol I'm always so happy when I get to bring ponies home.

Now, onto my non-pony brag. I'll cut right to the chase..................


    I GOT A PROMOTION AT WORK!!! 

I'm so HAPPY! I've worked at Lowes for six years and I've had the same part time cashier job since I started. I've interviewed on 14 different occasions for positions I qualified for, but I was out scored by other applicants each time. I was starting to think I was going to need to look elsewhere for a better job. That's when my store manager let me know there was a full time position opening up in our garden center. Not many people know, but I'm an avid gardener and know quite a bit about plants. I applied and interviewed and didn't hear anything else about it until this past week. They called and offered me the job!! I was so happy, I cried. This is my first full time job EVER and, on top of the increased hours, I'm also getting a $3 raise. I am beyond thrilled with it.

And I might have celebrated by buying myself something pony related.... but that's for another brag.... lol

This!  I was thinking to myself, who is that pretty yellow pony???  Congrats on all of your new additions and especially on your promotion!!  Your pay raise is now 'extra money' and can be directed straight to your pony fund.  LOL

The little yellow G3 baby is a fakie. =) I find G3 fakies fairly often and buy them up because I know some people like to collect them. She's the second one like that I've seen. I also have two donkey pose fakies somewhere.
