Item removed...

So this isn't actually pony related, but it is ebay related. I recently purchased something from someone, and now the listing has been removed by ebay...
What does that mean?

Typically it's not really much different from any other transaction, if it's been pulled by ebay, the listing may have been against ebay policy, or the member was removed altogether.

If you haven't paid for the item, then don't worry about paying, it's like the transaction is cancelled with no strikes toward you.

If you have already paid for the item, then you are covered by both ebay/paypal in the event that the item doesn't turn up or isn't as described. The only difference is you wont be able to leave feedback, because it's like the listing never existed.

Did eBay send you an email telling you the listing had been removed?

If they did it is most likely there is an issue with the seller.  I would maybe phone eBay to see if they can enlighten you on the situation on why the listing was pulled?

Hmmm.. I think I would give ebay a call TBH. its usually a seller issue (an item issue is possible i think but if the item sold then its less likely..) . If you've paid you will be covered and can open a case should the seller not send you the item or something else is amiss, so dont worry about losing your monies, but I think it would help to know exactly whats going on with this by contacting ebay  (phoning them  usually gets better  results    )

I will most definitely call them.. I've already paid. I spent $190.. It was the Elder Scrolls Online Imperial, which doesn't come out until April. So it was a preorder. It would take more than 10 days. I've already put in the early access codes they gave me, which also makes me think they do plan on sending it.

Ah, that's why it was pulled.  Ebay doesn't allow preorders that far out.  I think the item must be released within 10 days of the auction, for the purchase of filing a case against the seller should something happen.  Yup - I'd give them a quick call.  ^_^  They're pretty good with their phone support.

I've had this exact same thing with preoders and if I remember rightly ebay refunded me but definitely best to give them a call if you're unsure, for your peace of mind, especially given the amount you have paid for the item.

I called them. They said wait until a few days after the estimated delivery to see if it arrives. I messaged the seller, and they said I'd still receive it. Considering they have about 2000 positive feedback and 2 negative, I'm staying cautiously optimistic, and hoping they send it.

They are asking her to wait a few days after the expected delivery date.  It won't be anywhere near her 45 day Paypal window, so she doesn't have anything to worry about.

Oh I assumed the expected delivery date was in april, I clearly misunderstood what the OP wrote
