Who played the role of the males in your childhood herd?

  I was just thinking back to when I used to play ponies as a little girl and since I never had any big brother ponies & only one baby brother pony some of my girls were made into boys.

  For me my Sugarberry was the king of the earth ponies, on account of rough he got over the years (he was my first pony). Moondancer was the king of the unicorns, not really sure why. For little boys I had Racer (of course), baby sunnybunch (whom I named William after a friend hehe), and baby stripes & nectar, & lastly little Jebber whom I acquired solo at a yard sale. So tell me about your make shift boys!

I did eventually get a couple of the little boys, Racer and Drummer, and had friends with other of the little boys. Until I got Tux'N Tails, I had Sprinkles as the lone Stallion of my herd.   Even my 3yo thought she was a boy on first sight.

Blue Ember and Baby Sleepy Pie were boys in my heard! I still see Baby Sleepy Pie as a boy

for my g1's for some reason it was always speedy.. the coloring.. the bright orange j ust seemed like a guy to me.
for my g3's it was starchaser... for some reason i still see that one as a guy.

A hornless Speedy, a faded Sunspot I called Matches, an faded Cotton candy with no tail named Pebbles, and of course my four speed and Barnacle

I didn't have a lot of boy ponies, so Chief was the dad of all the babies and Banana Surprise was their mum.

Skydancer and Baby Cuddles.  Frilly baby buggy and all.

I remember my sister pointing out that the little instruction sheet that came with Cuddles said "her" and "she", and I told her "those are typos."

I had Tex so he was the main boy.  After that, I would say Bubbles.

:3 I asked a similar question like this on the trading post and almost NO ONE replied! Glad to hear some more responses. I always want to draw the makeshift pony families people make!

The two major ones I remember are Firefly and Princess Tiffany  . When I was a kid, I always played ponies with my best friend who happened to be a boy he pretended to merely tolerate the ponies but I think he liked them more than I did. He would always play the male villain Firefly (he was so dastardly that he even had clones ie. I somehow had like five Fireflys) who was plotting to take the beautiful but shy Princess (Prim)Rose away from the good Prince Valiant (ie. Princess Tiffany).  A couple of years ago when I started getting back into ponies, I told my friend and he was aghast I hadn't bought myself a Firefly yet as obviously he was best pony so I ended up buying two one for him and one for him.... but I still can't convince him that Firefly is a girl.

The boys in my herd were Sprinkles Moonstone and Baby Cuddles. I also had a green fakie and he was a boy too.

I never had any "real" boys, so in my herd Majesty and a green fakie were the grooms (for my Bridal Pony) when needed
