Introduction

Hi Everybody,
I am 31  and live in Colorado.
I am a stay at home mom and have 3 kids. 2 boys and a girl.
I use to Love g1 ponies as a little girl but sadly I don't have any of them anymore since we moved and my mom gave them away years ago. I still really Love them though especially the baby ponies.
Then I got back into collecting when my daughter was little with the g3 ponies I was getting her a lot of them since I really like them myself. We were kind of on a stand still for a while since we didn't like the g 3.5 much but recently got back into collecting when we seen how Awesome the G4 are. My favorite main six pony is Shutterfly and my daughter loves Rarity. We like to get blind bag ponies together and I have some of the sets.
There is just something about my little pony that makes you smile they r just so cute and adorable and make me Happy when I am having a bad day! The G1 also remind me of my childhood and I really love them. Recently got some postcards that had photos of G1 box art and that just made my day. I someday hope to get Bubbles (my first pony as a little girl) and also Cuddles my favorite baby pony as a little girl.

I grew up with G1s too and my best friend's first pony was Bubbles.  She and my Cotton Candy used to play together all the time

I love to see parents and kids collecting together!! I have older teen boys and they just sweetly put up with my obsession, like my hubby. And that's okay; I never have to share!! LOL

Welcome to the Arena!  So sad you had to give away your childhood ponies but I'm glad your daughter also has a love for ponies and that has allowed you to bond over them. I'm a child of the G1 era myself.

I have an extra beddy-bye eye Baby Cuddles (not sure if your childhood one had eyes that opened and closed) if you're interested.

Hi! Welcome to the Arena! I love meeting fellow G1 fans! It's great to about so many people sharing their love of ponies with their children.

My mother also gave away all my childhood ponies when she thought I had gotten too old for them. The first thing I did when I joined the Arena was start to recollect all the ponies I remembered from my childhood. Good luck finding yours!
