eBay sniping program recommendations?
« on: January 20, 2014, 08:25:10 AM »
Hey everyone! I've been scouring eBay for bait ponies lately and wondered if any of you have used a sniping program to win your bids. I found one called https://www.myibidder.com - it even has a tablet version - and wanted to know if anyone has used it with good or bad results. Or perhaps you know of a better app?

I've stuck with eSnipe.com from the beginning.  Never tried another service since I've been so pleased with eSnipe's results....except that one time where there was some sort of connection error and I lost an auction for Hollywood at only $6.  Then again, one snafu in about 13 years isn't something to complain about ^_^

I use auction stealer! It's been pretty good for me for the pas 7 years. You even get 3 free snipes a week!

Thanks everyone! I guess I'm just paranoid about giving it my eBay password and all, since it's linked to my PayPal. But it doesn't sound like any of you have been bamboozled. :)

I use my own judgement/fingers and only click 'Confirm' when there's 8 seconds to go

I used to use JBidwatcher but after some computer issues (plus unreliable internet connection) I don't snipe with programs anymore, I do it the old fashion way of waiting 'til the last 10-20 seconds or bidding my highest offer hours/days before if I'm going to be asleep or at work when the auction ends (or waking up at 3am just to bid if I'm really desperate to win lol).
It was always reliable for me but my Dad did have some issues with updating it, it's completely free and worth a try. :)
