A three hour tour, a three hour tour...
« on: January 16, 2014, 11:51:12 PM »
I'd have to say, my favorites are Gilligan and Mary Ann. I can probably relate to those two the easiest (except for maybe the farm girl angle). But all of them are important and the show wouldn't be the same if any of them weren't there. What that Professor could make! I think he could beat MacGuyver with one arm tied behind his back!

Some of my favorite episodes was the one with the radioactive vegetables, and the one with the lion. I really need to get out my DVD set and just watch them all again. I could use the fun and the laughs. :lol:

Wow, I haven't watched an episode of Gilligan's Island in like 20 years!! I always liked Mary Ann the best, though. :)

While I used to stay up late at night to watch reruns of MASH in high school, I'm pretty sure I've never seen Gilligan's Island. There should be a "who?" option.  ^^;

Hmm... :brow: This show is more iconic than ponies - *gets pelted with fakies* - and some of y'all haven't heard of it? I'm so offended! :poke:

(No, not really. But I'm a little surprised anyway.) :P

I've heard of it, I just don't know the characters. I think I remember there being reruns on cable at my cousin's house (along with shows like I Love Lucy), but I haven't had cable. ^^;

No worries. ;) Perhaps this will be a brief poll, anyway. Maybe you can catch it on Netflix or whatever someday. It's so silly. :haha:

Aww, the poor Howells aren't getting much love.

Aww, "the millionaire and his wife" aren't doing so well in the polls, are they?

I voted for the professor and Mary Ann. The professor because, well, he's the only character with a decent amount of brain power on the show, and Mary Ann because she's just so sweet. :)

I remember that show.  I always liked the Professor and Mary Ann the best followed by Ginger.  It was always fun to see what crazy invention the Professor would concoct out of coconuts and palm leaves.

Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh I LOVE Gilligan's Island! :D

SDS, I agree. Gilligan and Mary Ann are (and always will be) my favorites! :heart: I've always thought the two would make a perfect couple...I even did a sketch of them a couple months ago. ;)

(Pst, you should do a poll on I Dream of Jeannie next. I love that show even more than Gilligan's Island! :happy:)

If anyone gets MeTV, Gilligan's Island is currently in reruns there. :)

I've been mildly interested in the series for years, but didn't have access until recently. But I don't think I've seen enough episodes to really vote. I do really love how the Howells developed over time, though. Love or hate the first reunion movie, it's very obvious there how much they grew from their time on the island. :)

I also will never fail to get the giggles now over a character being named Ginger, due to my current obsession with a different character named Ginger (who is a GUY).
