Hello fellow pony lovers,
It's been a while...
I'm Chilanya, real name is Lily, and I live in the Netherlands.
My love for MLP started in my childhood in the 80ties.
As a child I owned about 15 G1 MLPs, half of them adults and the other half babies.
They always stayed with me, though they've been living in boxes in the attic for years.
My favourite was TAF Munchy.
Around the year 2002 I took up collecting, only G1. I never liked the G2 ponies.
Then the G3 line came.. at first I resisted.. being a traditional type :-)
But of course a few years later I saw so many adorable G3's that I started collecting those, too.
I've a collection of about 150 G1 and around 50 G3.
I've been on MLPTP and on MLParena and some other boards I don't even remember. Also I'm on e-bay under the username chilanya. I attended a MLP convention in the UK and another smaller pony meeting in the Netherlands. One of my best RL friends is a collector as well and she customizes G3's, mostly makes them into World of Warcraft fantasy characters. She's also made me a G1 custom of a favourite singer.
Around 2007 there were various reasons why I had to stop actively pursuing the collection. I had no space, no time, no money and health issues. So that's when I basically disappeared from pony communities. Not sure if anyone remembers me, I guess not after so many years.
But my accounts were disabled due to inactivity so that I have to start now with a zero post count and newbie status. Oh well.. Nothing wrong with being a newbie :-)
I probably won't be very active here, but I like to look at the customs forum and the show-and-tell / brag forum. I might start buying G1 and G3 in the near future because I still have a very long want-list. It was very silly of me of course to start so late in collecting G3, because I passed on the opportunity to buy them easily in toy stores. Perhaps I'll post some photo's of my collection.
Hope to meet you all here,
Greetz

PS: I used to have a pony character with the name chilanya, but I can't find the picture. She was a lavender colour body with white and purple hair, and a purple sign that is a logo I once designed. Think G1 Powder.
