Well, 2013 was a bit of a slow period in my life, to say the the very least, with at least one noteworthy exception. It was my first full year as a fan of the My Little Pony franchise, the year I attended my very first pony convention (Nightmare Nights Dallas), and, yes, the year I began collecting merchandise. That being said, I don't have much right now, as I don't have a source of my own income (i.e. A job) at this juncture, but I plan to have one rather early this year. Pretty much all of my current pony merch was either purchased at the convention, or are birthday/Christmas presents from my sister. Naturally, all of it is G4, as, like many during the last few years, it is what kindled my interest in the franchise. Suffice it to say, my collection is likely to expand to previous generations in subsequent years, presuming my affinity for ponies remains just as strong. For now, however, I seek to make some more friends with similar interests and will hopefully enjoy my time on this forum.
Additionally, I am an aspiring writer/actor/director, who, with any hope, will see some progress with these pursuits this year, however gradual it might be. It's not entirely pony-related, but the community has helped reinvigorate my creativity, and I thought it would just be an interesting fact to state. At any rate, that's all I have to state for now. Here's to what I anticipate to be a great time on this forum.
