2014 Minnesota Pony Meet - August 23rd - get ready!

I'm going to post some pictures today of my living room and other set-up space so everyone has a better idea of where we will be! And how much space we'll have etc.

Oh, I guess I should ask if you have any pets? I'm insanely allergic to horses and cats.

Edit: I'm allergic to a bunch of other things too (like dogs and birds), but horses and cats are the top 2.

Um... I have a cat, two dogs, two birds, and an iguana. I'll certainly make every effort to vacuum and keep the house aired out leading up to the event, and I can keep the cat in the downstairs bedroom.

We are getting excited!  We will bring a table to set our for-sale items on.  I've been busy sewing pony ears/unicorns on headbands.  If anyone is interested in a specific pony/color let me know.

(As long as we are on the topic of pets, I should note that my kids are deathly afraid of dogs.  If dogs will be out and about, just let me know so we can hang out in an area where they aren't going to be.)

That said, not sure how long I'll be able to stay with that amount of allergens but the doc has me on better medication now so this will be a good test at least! lol And thank you for in advance for cleaning! It'll help me breathe so much better!

Edit: Also I hate how picky I sound, but I thought I should add that horse hair is the worst for me. Like, break out in rashes within minutes kind of bad. In small amounts, I should be able to handle it better though.

I haven't actually leased a horse since last fall, and although I'm looking for my next mount I'll hold off until after the meet!

Living room from the other direction. The husky's name is Sky, the greyhound is Gigi. Oh! And you can see my cat lurking outside the window (on a leash and harness!). His name is Hoku.

Looking on from the dining table to the kitchen area and through on to the large deck. I think (assuming no rain) we'll grill and have food outside. The sidedoor leads out to the detached 2.5 car garage. Although we could set up sale tables on the deck... that way we're almost all in the same-ish space, but where to put the food!? lol

Poster update! Coming along great so far, few more changes and additions to be made, I would love to include more kids that will be at the event! Again if you are bringing any guests with you and want them to be included on the poster please let me know asap! I'm working my butt off daily to get it all done! Only waiting to hear from Rybett and waiting for Kazzelin to message me back! I will send out one last personal message to double check if anyone else needs to be added!

I am super excited to come meet all of my fellow MN Pony Lovers on the 23rd I am sorry that I have not made much of an appearance on this forum as of late but I have been in clinical training so I don't have much of a life at the moment. I have 4 more weeks left to go!
