2014 Minnesota Pony Meet - August 23rd - get ready!

Checking in!  Lots of activity on this thread!  I'm looking forward to the meet & need to start sorting my sales/trades!  Glad we are going to have a good turnout!

 I'll be bringing my extra trading cards, CCG, and dog tags preferably to trade first.  Maybe a few blind bags will find their way along too.

I'm looking for the black&tan puppy and the brown&tan bunny, both are Ready to Go pets.

  I think I might have the vintage puppy.  I don't usually collect LPS, but was able to get a deal with some pony stuff.

Is there any other non-pony stuff people are looking for?

Are Dream Beauties pony or non-pony? I know they're G1 contemporaries, but not formally in the line-up. Either way, want!

I know the bunny and puppy. I don't think I have the bunny but I'll double check. I might be able to trade for it before I come to MN. The dog I have but I like him.... he's a double but the original doesn't live with me

I am not sure what I will have for sale at the time, been selling a LOT this month. (Which is good too.) I am sure I will have some G1, G3 and G4 though and some non-MLP stuff that I can inquire about closer to the meet.

I think Tex is good, although any Big Brother is great! He is the only one that I do not have MOC though. I can bring US, Spain and German and the rest of the army.

I'm glad, too! It's nice to see it get bigger every year, sort of becoming a creature on it's own! GROW, MY PRETTY!

I'm getting really excited, I have a new game I want to try out. Sort of a new take on the "guess what's in the bag" game, and I'm thinking of having beginner and expert levels. I also learned to make fruit pizzas, the cookie with the fruit for a topping, and it was so delicious that I'll be bringing one for the meet. It's sugar cookie, cream cheese, and fruit, so if anyone is allergic to any specific fruits, let me know and I'll avoid them.

I'm sorry I haven't been here much, and if it's ok with you, ponyqueen, I think we'll just use Tex. He's gotten almost all of the "votes" so far, other than the "all the boys" votes! If anyone doesn't like that, just let me know, I can add the poll. I had to turn down a kayaking adventure this week because I'm so darn busy all the time, something I would NEVER have done a year ago.

This is so exciting! I'm good for Tex being the host pony. Think it might be better to just have one, really. If everyone brought all the boys, the picture will get both big, and far away.

I will be doing my best to get ponies ready for sale by the time the meet happens. I have a plans to move my mom's fabric all the way downstairs (while she's not home, so she cannot object to where I put it - lol!), which will make it so I can use an area of my room to actually put my ponies on display - playsets and all, I hope! Er, anyone know off hand how tall the PE and DC (with flags) are? Mine are packed up, and I need to figure out how many shelves I'll be able to put in, height-wise... I'm hoping sorting my ponies for display will make it easier to figure out which to keep. I bought a bunch of lots when I first got into collecting, and have some of of my brother's ponies (he doesn't want them), so... Yeah. Sorting. Gotta do it. They're all suffocating in boxes right now.

Yee haw! Tex is getting ready for the Tex Family Reunion (omg someone bring a custom baby tex!) and he's putting in long hours on the cactus farm getting it all extra thorny and succulent. Here's a pic of him transplanting some young cactus in the nursery. It's like seven inches from the midday sun and you can see the drips of sweat on his shovel. Hoo doggy! Time for a break!

the ones to the window, have problems, from marker to a missing ear.

i'm not sure if i want to bring ponies to sell this year.
if any of these look interesting to others i might.
also have a box of g3s'.... but who doesn't.

I *think I'm bringing my vintage g1made in italy tea set for tarding for some ponies if anyone is interested. Also some funko minis that I got doubles of to trade for ones I don't have yet, and LPS Lovebirds in cage for trade.
