Collection Resolutions 2014

I don't have that many resolutions towards my ponies but the ones I do are

1. Streamline my collection I am planning to have a bit of a cull early in the year of ponies I really don't need
2. Finish the ponies I have to rehair/deflock
3. finish some of the sets I will be keeping

In 2014 I hope to add better shelving & lighting to the pony & doll room so I can display more of my collection. Also, I've decided to focus mainly on G1 unicorn ponies so my collection will be streamlined & a lot of ponies sold off (if I can bring myself to do it). Definitely making it to the Pony Fair in 2014! And I might try my hand at customizing a bit more.

Maintaining a complete Funko vinyl pony collection, including all glitters! It's going to be a hunt and challenge, hopefully won't have to buy too many of them online.

1: All the Equestria Girls dolls with GOOD hair.
2: As many of the 4th dimension pluhsies that get released as I can, hoping for Dash soon.
3: All the 10 inch Funrise plushies too, when my local walmart STOCKS them.
4: Get normal funko Vinyl Scratch as I still missed out on grabbing her, along with Bonbon and Spitfire.
5: Talking NMM.
6: Any new G4 brushables that come out + all Dashes and Lunas.
7: Twisty Treats.
8: Everything else I forgot.

My interest in every other gen is limted to looking at pretty pictures for now. Besides, I have most of my fave G1s already anyway.

I think mine was to get my collection to 400 or 500? I did get to 400 but not sure if I will go to 500. That is just to many ponies for me.

I managed to do quite well last year:
1. Clean and reorganize my collection.  (It is partly done)
2. Stay up to date with G4 (including the exclusives). (Too many exclusives sadly)
3. Obtain Zecora.
4. Obtain more Vinyl Scratch stuff (like the backpack).
5. Get some welovefine shirts and a G1 shirt.
6. Obtain some more old gen ponies.
7. Obtain one or a couple of nirvana ponies or G1 moc ponies
8. Get one of the big G3 plush ponies. (I got one of the less big...big plush ponies. So that is the next best thing)

For this year my resolutions are:

1. Import less ponies and focus on the things that are for sale here. It's annoying but i should waste less money on shipping and customs. All the USA exclusives have become too frustrating.
2. Focus on brushables, plush ponies, Equestria girls and Funko ponies. Avoid the other things like fashion ponies, mini ponies, the enter-play stuff and all the other random merch. Only get things if i really like them and if they don't look too much like other releases.
3. Get a G1 shirt that fits better...
4. Add more to my G2 collection.
5. Maybe finally get one of those collector inventory books.
6. Obtain the comic-con exclusive if it looks good.
7. Continue to clean/style the rest of my collection.

My biggest 2014 wish is to get a custom plush of Star Catcher, Vinyl Scratch or one of my own characters.

My 2013 Pony Resolutions were:

-add Greek Lambaditsa to my collection CHECK!
-finish organizing my pony room ....Uncheck. It's still pretty much exactly how it was last December.
-catalog my entire G1 collection online ...well, I'm not finished, but about 80% complete! I started a Facebook page for my collection since it's easy to upload, edit, and free with no limits on picture space. If you want to check it out, there's a link in my signature.

For 2014, I'd like to:
-finish cataloging my collection
-finish organizing my pony room
-complete my Brazil ponies (only need Twist, Love Melody, upgrade for Bluebelle, upgrade for Minty)
...my pony budget is not what it used to be, so I try to set more reasonable goals for myself

This year, I wanted to inventory my collection properly and get all of the Mountain Boys.  I did sort through and check mark what I have, and I have only two more Mountain Boys to find/buy.

In 2014, I want to set up and organize my new Pony Room in the new house, finish my UK G1 collection, and buy a giant G3 plush to rule in there.

With less G4s coming out that I want, I want to refocus on more online purchases to fill out my G1 collection. To begin, I would like to finish off my Big Brother collection and finally get started on collecting Mountain Boys.

2. Obtain my G4 grail Rainbow Flash
3. Get a hold of any G4's I'm missing (like 5 or 6 I think?)
4. Obtain my first G2 pony
5. Get a G1 pony Plush!
5. Expand my collection!! All of it!!

But next years resolution will be:
Get more G3s
Get some G1s
Reach pony population of 250
Get Rosey Posey!!!!

Get BAB Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and Applejack

My 2014 Pony Resolutions are probably...

1. Finish my G3s, minus LSPP and LSRarity (seriously, I'm only like 20 ponies away...)
2. Finish my Mass Effect Pony customs (they've been a LONG time in the making!)
3. Clean/declutter my pony room once and for all (it doubles as my library/office and is sort of a catch-all for things that I don't feel like finding a place for)
4. Finish getting my shelves up so that everyone can be displayed properly
5. Hopefully keep up with the G4 brushables (since they're the only parts of the G4 line that I currently collect)

I'm sure I'll pick up the occasional G1 or G2 in there, but I am absolutely determined to get my G3s completed since they're the generation that got me started up in collecting again and I'm soooo close to having them done!

-Fill up a fish bowl with blind bag ponies just to see if I can.

-Actually get to work on custom ponies. FOR REAL THIS TIME! I hope. I guess. I wonder.

-Draw more pony related stuff.
