Help with ID & questions about Rosette - UK vs. German versions

I've been browsing Strawberry Reef and found out there were two versions of this girl Does anyone have both the German one and the UK release and can compare them? Or maybe someone can tell me the differences between them?

Is it true that the UK one always has straight hair while the German one has curls? I'm trying to figure out which one of them would be my childhood pony (she had curls for sure and that's probably the only thing I remember about her for certain ) and if the pony I have now as a replacement is the right one (as the colors on her look somehow... wrong )

I was trawling ebay again for her today...I am continuing on the desperate search for her UK version.

Its pretty straight forward to tell them apart thankfully

One version has a row of yellow running the entire length of the mane and the other has just a small section of yellow [much as you would see with the early unicorns and even with the Big Brothers]. The one with the shorter [in length] streak is also a much deeper yellow colour in body colour when the one with the full mane length of yellow is a very pale yellow in comparison. The pale version is the UK release and the dark yellow is the European release. They both were released with curly hair. So it looks like you have the Euro release!

Harder than I would have thought. In general as a pony she does not come up as often as you would think but the Euro version comes up far more than the UK.

Sorry to bump this up, but I have one more question

What is the price difference between the Euro and UK Rosette's? The Euro one is worth around $15, right? So the UK would be more expensive, wouldn't she?

I think the price is pretty much the same tbh, as most people aren't that bothered.

I agree with LadyG, there is not a difference in price - mainly as many collectors are not overly concerned on having both versions or on which version they own as long as its one Rosette. However, in general she is running much higher than that at the moment - $30-35 for her in lovely condition with curly hair and no issues.

I have both versions, but I'm not sure if they are officially one UK & one German. One is MIB & that was originally purchased in Greece. I can't remember where my loose one came from. Let me dig up pics...

She is more common MIB than she is loose and complete

There is usually a MIB floating around ebay but I would say $140 for her at the moment. If you are selling go with a reserve or BIN as she often sells for lower than this on ebay on auction but for me she is worth the $130-140.
