Kaoskat, how on earth do you have so many shinnies?  This is my 3rd or 4th pokemon game, and I've still never seen a single one IRL.  Can you tell if a pokemon is shiny before you catch it, or do you have to catch hundreds and then check them all?

It looks different when it appears and I've been hunting in the friend safaris with my shiny charm for months. You can find more shinies there anyway and the charm gives an extra boost.

When a shiny Pokemon appears, it'll have sparkles around it as soon as it enters battle.

Looks like I'm done with Pokemon until the remakes next month!  I have Smash Bros to keep me occupied on the 3DS, and there aren't any more shinies I want.

Anyone else getting the Ruby or Sapphire remakes?

Haha I have only ever seen one shiny I  the wild and that was execute. Still have Him in one of the games.

Cannot wait for sapphire and ruby to come out .......    ............     ......  Again I only ever had emerald back then and only a couple of years ago discovered you can get the regi Pokemon. So embarrassing

I plan on getting Sapphire. Even also going to try and breed a good Feebas/Milotic from my X game so I can transfer it over ASAP (I HAVE to have a Milotic on my team xD) .

I had Sapphire as a child (still have game) and I bought ruby last year so I can trade between the two. Have had Sapphire on pre-order for four months. No more Pokémon for me until I get alpha sapphire though.

Preordered mine! I happened to be in a mall with a Gamestop and swung by to see if they had Shiny Gengar codes and they didn't yet. That event starts today (I totally forgot) so stop by your Gamestops, American players!

I am SOOOO close to getting my shiny charm. >.<

no one would happen to let me borrow for a very short SHORT period of time,
zapdose, lugia, ho-oh, latios, kyogre, groudon, rayquaza, dialga, palkia, and reshiram?

id just keep them in the pc and not even bother them, but i heard you have to have all of them, not just cataloged in the dex, in order to get the charm, and those are the last few i need. not counting the event pokemon.

not yet, havent had a car. im hoping that, sincei  live in a small town, xD maybe not many people will have heard about it and i can hit both our shops up with my son and get a couple :p
