I think I own one (that is in VERY poor condition w/ the blue symbols), but I'm still skeptical.....

"Wipe away"- You can wipe her color right off, she is quite white underneath, but she has the PURPLE symbols.

Interesting about the wipe-away Windy!   That's similar to what Bright Eyes goes through.

Can you see why there's such a debate? 

And lots of shades in between (pony-in-question is at the top right, but you can see there are all kinds of shades of purple in this lot)

Wow! She's very white, isn't she? I can certainly see why people aren't sure about her. Does your white Windy have blue symbols. Ashlyn?

I have seen the same purple dye issue with Seashell as well. Once had one who was rusted inside; she was soaked in denture cleanser and when I rinsed her you could see the water purple! Although there was not a massive difference in her colour when she was cleaned up...or I didnt think so anyway.

Yes, it's fairly blue compared to my other Windy's. I should get a picture in natural light.   And they have that paint bleed issue. She's also taller than most of my Windy's but I don't know if that's a trait.  This is the one I got from Sweden.  In all appearances, it looks like she should be authentic, but she has lavender in her neck seam.  I've thought about seeing if she'll sunfade completely. I know with strong enough light and some time, this is possible.

Lovely! I think i am falling in love with Bleach Windy...whether she's a natural or not, the white is just gorgeous!!

Okay folks here they are!

I took them in natural light outside but it was a fairly grey day so that didn't help!

I don't have any proper photographic lighting and normal indoor fluorescent light just won't cut it for a colour comparison
I took a nice closeup pic of  the blue symbol and one of it beside purple symbol Windy

She is so pretty lighter in colour I always think because of her symbol should would have been nicer released in blues and whites and greys.
