Hi, all!

My name is Andi (AKA Ashbet), I'm 37, and I've been a lifelong pony fan -- my first was Blue Belle (although Firefly and Moondancer were the pair who utterly captured my heart!

I've really enjoyed watching MLP's renaissance in recent years, and getting to share both FiM and classic episodes and ponies with my daughter and my almostdaughter (the former just turned 21, the latter is five-and-a-half and belongs to my closest friends/family-of-choice.)

I had a fairly extensive pony collection until I was 16 -- I now focus on Asian ball-jointed dolls (BJDs) and Monster High (I'm a customizer), and am primarily interested in MLP customs these days, because I love seeing the level of creativity the community brings to the fandom!

*hugs all around*  Aw, thanks -- it's been lovely to get such a warm welcome!

I actually haven't done any MLP customs yet (I'm a BJD and MH customizer at the moment), although I'm in the process of restoring some of my childhood ponies -- I'll definitely share when/if I take the dive into pony-customizing!  Knowing me, it's very likely a "when"

So glad that you liked my doll (her name is Amande, she's a 43cm "Narae" resin BJD) . . . I'm definitely going to have to check out the Dollhouse section and the MH Arena when I get my laptop back from the shop and it's a little easier to get online!

I definitely got a laugh when I came to the Twice-As-Fancy realization . . . they were some of my favorite ponies (I adored Sugarberry!)

I hadn't thought about them in a while at the time that I got my tattoo, although I'd often said that my love for crazy-colored hair dates back to MLP and Jem . . . but when I was talking about my love for ponies with a friend back in 2007, I had the sudden realization that my hair wasn't the only thing we had in common -- I was TOTALLY a TAF pony!!  *grin*

I'm really enjoying checking out all the awesome Halloween-themed customs right now -- and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone (and running into old friends on here -- I always love Naamah's pony customs!)
