Does the shiny Gaurados in Soul Silver count? The game practically hands that one to you though.

If not, the only other shiny I have caught was a Tentacool.

My first shiny was a Linoone in Ruby I think? Or Sapphire, I can't remember. One of those. Then a Persian in Fire Red.

So, in Anistar City, there's this old man who wants to take care of one of your pokemon. I won't spoil anything, but if you leave it with him long enough, something really neat happens. Sad, but neat.

In other news, Tiella had her surgery this morning, and might come home tomorrow.

Oh, I hope the surgery went smoothly and there were no complications or anything!

Now I'm excited to get to that part of the story, just out of curiosity!

I had my first horde battle, and it's not very fun when they all know sand attack and just spam that! It took forever to finally take them down, even with switching Pokemon.

To join in the bandwagon of first shiny stories, mine was a Rhydon in Diamond. I've had quite a bit of shiny luck over the years though. I guess I play too much Pokemon or something.  :blush:

Surgery went well, and she is likely gonna come home tomorrow.

As for the old man, it takes a few days for that subplot to work itself out.

Anyone else weirded out by petting humanoids in Pokemon Amie? Why the crap do they *have* to like their legs being petted best? I thought this was a kid's game?

So three pokemon that are hidden in the game got accidently leaked about a week back, and now pictures are showing up (assuming they are legit). O.o

@ Flarewing: happy to hear that Tiella's surgery went okay! :3 that old man in Anistar City really "surprised" me when I got to that point. :(

Oh, they're neat looking!! I wonder how people are meant to encounter them when it really comes about!! I'm excited. The last one is cute, and the second has an amazing type! I mean, that's so weird and cool!

Trying to choose a character name. I've decided to go through pokemon Y with a team of later game pokemon. Going with a guy this time.

His team is gonna be:

Honedge
Chespin
Squirtle
Espurr
That dragon bat thing


I'm gonna need someone's help when I catch pokemon to help me transfer eggs from one account to the other.
