I don't know how you guys pre-order these things the way you do...I have seen to many on shelf with awful paint jobs. I guess I would fear I would get a really bad looking one...

Hot Topic allows in-store exchanges.  All you need to do is show the packing receipt.  I had gotten a Pinkie Pie with a really bad looking tail.  I was able to exchange it with no trouble at all

BUT if you want to do a return, whatever you do, don't use PayPal!  If you have a PayPal debit card, use that instead.  They can't do in-store refunds if you use PayPal

I'll be waiting for them to hit the shelves this time because the variants don't look good this time. Was really hoping that variant dj would be clear with glitter instead of that grey!

I have never seen a variant in person, they never have them at the store and i've never gotten one out of a preorder so i dont really worry about collecting them all. if i find one ill have it but if i dont, its just to expensive to track down. although i would have loved the glittery pinkie pie i just like to at least have one of each funko pony... they are coming out so fast tho... i havent figured out where to put them....
