I did have a discussion thread started for it but it's fallen way back.  It was for up-to-date discussion, though, and had lots of spoilers.

Anyway, I'm a huge fan, and I'm eagerly awaiting the finale.  However, I am NOT looking forward to life after BrBa.  Everything else on TV just ... will never incite the same feeling of devotion.

I'm about half way through Season 2. I'm not entirely crazy about it, but maybe it's slowing growing on me?

This is my third try watching it. The first time, I only saw two episodes & was done. It felt slow-going and Jesse seemed really annoying. On the second go, I saw the first four episodes with my husband. We both had the same feelings that I had before. Then I heard a few people saying that you have to see the whole first season to get into it. I figured that since I didn't have much left that I wanted to watch on Netflix (and it was rerun season), I should give it one more shot with a more open mind. I figured it's either three strikes you're out, or third time's the charm. I'm leaning towards the latter now. I've all ready come this far, eh? And Jesse isn't so bad after all.

I've heard a lot about it, but I have such a long list of "things I need to watch" that I usually end up not watching any of them. Slowly chipping away at Doctor Who, but BrBa is up there on my list of things I want to check out at some point.

BrBa is an "absolute must watch".  I rarely say that about TV shows, but the writing, character development, and air-tight, thought-provoking, and masterful storytelling make it some of the best work I've seen in the medium in a long time.  Not to mention the thrilling cinematography.  It brings you completely into its dark, complex universe and many times grabs you by the heart (or stomach.)  S5E14, "Ozymandias", is simply the best episode I've seen of any television drama, ever.

As for Jesse ... I won't give any spoilers, but his complexity astounds me.  He starts off as a low-life wayward kid but grows tremendously.  His morality comes into serious play in later seasons.  It can be downright heart-wrenching.

I've just started on the show myself, so I'm only a few episodes in. I've enjoyed it a decent amount so far, and from what I've seen I'm confident I'll like it more as it goes on and reels me in.
