BB Wave 8 question?

I was at my local wal mart today and saw they got this set in. I was wondering how do I pick them out? I looked at there bags and looks like all the numbers and letters are different. Can any one help me out with being able to tell who is in them? My daughter put four of them on her wish list.

They changed the number system to a combination of letters and numbers. The new codes are up on Strawberry Reef here: http://www.strawberryreef.com/Index/G4/IndexBB.html

...Or do you mean they're different than the ones listed at Strawberry Reef now?

I'm not sure if this has been confirmed, but a friend told him that the ponies are listed from A-Z on the back of the packages - I've been mostly successful, but some of the letters are hard to read

Ya I had a hard time reading all the things on there. Some of it was over stamped on each other. Guess I will not go there when I am tired......LOL I hope they have the four that I want to get. I am trying to be smart with money and Christmas this year.

But yes, I agree. Some are pretty hard to read. Like AF looks like AE, etc. Fun times!

oh you are lucky, i just spotted that wave here too in nz and ours have absolutely nothing there, no number code that matches the online code and no letter code i had to buy one blindly to study it better at home and search the net but i think they left it out on bb's in nz, this is upsetting for future bb's (and i really want to get that wave 9)cos i hate wasting money on double ups, they are now $5usd here now for the newest waves.

I wonder why they changed how you see who it is? Do you think its cause we were able to pick out the ones that we wanted?  WOW that is a lot of one little pony Sorry to hear that. I am going to top tomorrow again and see if I can find out who they have.

Yes they are alphabetical this time to throw us off I guess! Unfortunately if they are blind it encourages people to buy more in order to track down all those they are missing. A lot of blind packs dont have codes; so far we have been lucky with ponies.

I was wondering about all of the other blind bags that I have seen out there. They sure seem to be a popular thing that companies have been doing.

Yep, I spotted wave 8 at my local Big Lots! I'm just disappointed that I haven't had many (any?) Blind Bags show up in my area until this late in the game.

This is why I just buy a case of the whole set - boring I know, but much easier!
