What stores is she supposed to be in?  It looks like the little toys in the boxes near the cash registers at Barnes and Nobles.  I need an excuse to make a book store run anyway, so that's what I'm hoping!  ;)

Well I must say I am dissapointed in Firefly's design. The book is cute. IF they make Starshine or Glory (which the booklet gives the indication of) I would consider buying. otherwise I just want the book and only for the pics..
Whic brings up thiis question: I do not recall seeing anything about a unproduced set of ponies. Can someone direct me to where I can learn more about them?

Poor ugly thing.

Btw, yes, she is stamped Hasbro 2014!

And the booklet is meh. It's a bunch of the retro designs they've been putting on everything, then they have some pages of the original box art that we've seen a lot of.

In the beginning of the booklet it says, "Celebrate the timeless My Little Pony adventure and cheer with classic ponies Firefly, Starshine, Snuzzle, and Glory. Full of charm, each one will bring you back to an enchanted time full of sunshine and rainbows. For every young girl at heart, the world of My Little Pony awaits you. Let Firefly and her friends remind you that dreams can come true!"

It then has a page to each of the named ponies in retro style. I wonder if they considered making all of them?

Oh boy. Hype over nothing. It looks like they used way too much hair for the tail. The book looks nice though.

Here are a couple of the old problem threads about them

Heads up. When I go there my Avast A/V gives me a malicious URL warning. Must be from an ad or something.

I went ahead and cancelled my order.  If I see her in the store, I might yet pick her up, but I'm not in a rush to get her right now.

It's funny that these come from 'amazon'. I'm imagining that Firefly's visit to the Jivaroan tribes, didn't go so well for her.
Probably doesn't own a stolen piece of the Taj Mahal.

Haha! Oh...man.... *shake head* Oh poor Firefly...

She looks just like a Lanard fakie! I do like some fakies but not Lanards. Personally I find their faces to look too cow-like and Firefly looks the same.
Thank you Thimble for my amazingly cute avatar!

Not an official licensed product using a fake mold?

Have we gotten so accepting of hasbro licensing and releasing junk that we're okay with junk?

She needs to take a trip back to the amazon and get that head shrunk a little more ;p

I actually feel kind of bad for the person/people involved in the design process.  I just keep thinking though, surely with 3D scanning/printing technology that something more accurate (even in a small size) could have been done.
