Wow- well Amazon doesn't usually post pictures of stuff that isn't actually available- so maybe I am now cautiously optimistic!  (also glad I pre-ordered before the price hike, heh)

Feeling cautious optimism as well.  I really hope that they do actually make these.  When I first read the description I thought maybe it would come with a dollymix firefly or something but the image looks like a full size reproduction firefly.  I wonder if by mini pony they mean little pony?

Brace yourselves, April is coming.

No, seriously, I was looking for this thread (I hadn't seen the picture yet!), it was due for a bump. I can't wait to get and see what you'll get in the mail. While I don't expect re-releases of G1, however cool that would have been, I'm noting that these are the same ponies from the retro t-shirts and if not a new toy line I'm crossing my hooves for a retro merchandise line.
I'm looking to buy Port-o-Bella. Please email me.

This was such a weird listing, I am truly curious as to what will actually materialize.

Product Dimensions: 3.2 x 2.9 x 1.9 inches

I'm guessing this is the size of the box containing the toy, brush, and book.

I collect FireFly memorabilia so even if the product isn't that great I can at least keep it for army purposes. I am dying to know what it will really be in the end, and it's reaalllllly pins and needley for me. Still stalking the thread

Wow, if that's the size of the box it's going to be very mini indeed. I did a quick mockup with paper because I'm bad at imagining dimensions, and it's barely big enough for a G4 pegasus brushable or board book. Even an original G1 brush takes up a fair amount of room in there! Although looking at the stock image again, the Firefly book looks like a paperback, so the hardcover popup I used probably isn't fair play.

Anyone know how big Dollymix ponies are in comparison to G4 brushables or blind bags? The pony coming with this might be a unique mold halfway between those two sizes.

The dollymix are pretty much on par with the blind bag/ponyville sized ponies :)

My, that is small! Is it too much to hope for it to be a to scale mini version of the retro doll?
