Has anyone taken the glitter of PP and Wysteria yet?

So I picked up PP and Wysteria today... man they are WAY more cute in person than online pics do them justice! I still would have preferred a 'crystal' version that was just the clear plastic rather than a glitter coating (or put the glitter inside the plastic rather than the outside) but I don't mind them as much as I thought I would!

After handling them quite a bit to find the right spot to put them in my display shelf, I was happy to inspect my fingers and palms closely and did not find any glitter had come off. Good job, Hasbro!

So my original plan had been to take the glitter off with acetone, but now that I have them, I might just keep them as is. However, has anyone taken the glitter off of either of these? If so, I'd love to see pics!!

I've been thinking of getting a Wysteria to deglitter. I know I've seen a de-glittered blind bag but not a whole pony.

I definitely plan to, I just done really have extra money right now to buy another pair of them

yeah i have and wasn't that happy after, i bought a spear pinkie cheap from china to de-glitter, it didn't look as great as i thought it would i thought it would look more clear, i will up load a photo soon, got as far as the most of the body and gave up, it wasn't easy unless what i was using was of cheap quality but took me far too long to do....

right i have taken a picture of what it looks like under the glitter, i will finish it one day when i  have the energy
i do love the glitter and i love the glitter on the FS size ones a little more

Yep, not going to de-glitter my pinkie and wisteria lol, they are far too pretty with all that glitter

I may still deglitter a Wysteria (keeping a glittered one as well, of course), just to have one that fits better with my other brushies. Thanks for the pics! What method did you use, acetone with covered symbol?

well to be honest i used what i had in my bathroom cabinet i used nail polish remover with the acetone and then i used the normal non acetone nail polish remover which did the same if not better job, it was better brand and quality and seems to be stronger
i must take time out and find something better at a hardware store, i am guessing thats where everone gets there acetone stuff from?

yes you need to get pure acetone (bunnings or mitre10 mega will have it in the paint section), nail polish remove doesn't compare.

Thanks for the pic!! Disappointing that they aren't more clear! I know the body is at least a little clear, since I can see my Pinkie's tail washer through her body if I peer behind the glitter, but definitely not as clear as I was hoping! Ah well.

to be honest it will properly come up more clearer after acetone has been used on it, nail polish remover doesnt' really get the glue off to well
