Pony Ex-Pats

So i was reading the brag topics and it got me thinking... what ponies have you found while flea marketing, thrifting etc that are foreign to your country?

 First off I live in the USA, I have found an Italy Tootsie at a flea market, a rollerskating Melody at a thrift store, G2 Euro Satin Slipper at a thrift store and piggy Alcondente and macau Blosscotch on a US Website hidden in lots.

I found Indian Butterscotch in Canada

I found starlight baby mischief at a thrift store, and airbrushed eyed Italian butterscotch, blossom bluebell from a flea market. I was so surprised when I got those Italians as I didn't even realize until I got home as to who they were. I missed out on Cotton Candy who was also there, but walked away trying to decide if I should buy ponies I already have...lol

I was just beating myself up about this last night.

When I first started collecting, I went to Goodwill to look for ponies and I found a G1 plush. Since I was new and still under the impression that G1s would still be common on the second-hand market (ha!), I decided that I wanted to limit myself and not collect the plushies, just the vinyl toys only, so I left it behind.

Turns out it was the UK Bowtie plush pajama carrier.

"How could this happen to meeeeeeee I've made my mistaaaaaaakes, got nowhere to ruuuuuun, the night goes oooon as I'm fading awaaaaaay, I'm sick of this liiiiiife, I just wanna screeeeeaaaam, how could this happen to meeeeee?"

The only foreign pony I've found at my flea market is Baby Schoolbag.  And that was in the mid-90s, so quite a while ago!  And it was before I had the internet at home (it was aroudn 95-96 so I was still in high school and living at home), so I had no way to ID her until I found the Dream Valley site in 2000.

An Italian Applejack in Belgrade, Serbia and i think I found a Target exclusive G3 pony at one point here in Iceland at the thrift store (can't remember who :S).
Also and 2 NC/Spain Sundances and one NC/Spain Starflower

Neat topic! I got a Greek Bluebell at a garage sale in North Carolina and a UK Bon Bon at a fleamarket in Florida. ^-^

I never have personally unfortunately but an Indian pony and a, at the time unconfirmed, Vennie was found at my local car boot sale - this would be years and years and years ago though!

I found my Argie Bluebelle in a Southern California flea market. I think she was a childhood toy of the seller.

Only one I ever got was an Italian Lickety Split and she was in a g3 lot on ebay....

This is me too! I finally found someone on Craigslist who has some commons that I am going to try and get on Saturday! I have even looked on CL in other cities where my family members live!
