I just checked and there is no more update to it.  Does anyone know who the primary mail carrier is for Australia?

That would be Australia Post.  That tracking number is coming up as invalid on the Aus Post website.

Yeah it has to be tracked through USPS. Which is showing no updates since August 3, but clearly shows it as sent. I'd be calling paypal - see what your rights are if that package arrives afterwards, which you'll be able to prove (IMHO you shouldn't have been charged at all, you have proof of shipping) and chase down the package with USPS.

Thank you for the info!  Yeah, I don't know what happened to the package.  My feeling on it was frustration toward Lee, because this was a favor - not a sale for me, and had I been in Lee's position, I would have been bummed that my package never came, but I would not have filed a claim against the person who helped me get it.  I would have eaten the loss.  I am glad this is still being bumped though, because I would not wish this on anyone else!

Can someone give a call to the Australia post to see the status of the package?

At least from my personal experience, the postal service used only works when the package is in the country of oring, later MUST change to the destiny country.

If it wasn't first class you should be able to call someone to track it down, and if it is lost, you might be able to claim at least some of yoir money back.  If it was 1st class they won't track it in Australia anyway.

Australian quarantine is very strict.  It could be held up there.

Exactly.  I had a package take 2 months to arrive.  It just stopped at customs and sat there for weeks.  Uhg, I can't believe someone did that to you! Are they from the community or ebay?

That's not the same person as Brundog, is it?  I know they had huge problems a long while back.

Nah. Brundog lives in the UK and hasn't been active for years.

This is one of the worst non-scam stories I've ever heard. What an ungrateful cow.

I mentioned Lee awhile back on here. She ended up with over $300.00 in ponies from me and filed a claim through paypal. She won the claim even though I had proof the item arrived at her place. I blocked her a long time ago!

Thats just terrible!  Sounds like this isn't her first time pulling this kind of BS then.

I'm so glad you got your money back. I can't believe this person! Its crazy that anyone would turnaround and file a claim when someone is just doing them a favor.  Why would they think it's fair that you should eat the cost of a package going missing when you have proof that it was mailed when it was a favor and not a sale?   

I like helping people out- but this case is making me think twice about it in the future, unless it's a member with lots of positive feedback.
