This is so odd-  I ordered some as well but am not overly optimistic.  Also-  I don't really want them to lose money over the Funko ponies, or they won't carry more in the future.  TRU needs to get it together.

Even if the orders don't work out-  it sure looks like Celestia and Twilight will be in the next release.  I think we won't see them for a while though since they don't even have the prototypes done yet.

It would be so cool if they did Celestia with a white body and translucent glittery mane...  I've been wanting a custom like that and this would definitely save me some work!

Man I was at TRU and I was taken back that they even HAD Funkos at mine! They only had solid Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Dr. Whooves, but it's the first time I've seen any Funkos at TRU. I do hope mine gets those new ones, I do LOVE the Funko ponies...

They say that this is "In Stock" at my local store for in-store pick up. I was there yesterday and they did have BonBon & Spitfire, but no Celestias. Hmmm.

... should be for just one pony ... if you look at the others, like dr. whooves, it breaks down their assortments too ... they made an error in listing the ponies and they should be listed individually ...

The Dr. Whooves "assortment" includes Twilight Sparkle @_@

It also does not include Dr. Whooves.    As I recall, the description for Fluttershy said the same thing when it first went up.  That one has been changed to be accurate now, but there's still a question posted on her page asking if Twilight would have wings or not.

I'm wondering if these really are Toys R Us exclusives or if it's like Hot Topic and they are only exclusive for a limited time before other retailers can pick them up. 


Edit:  I was just looking at the details on the Celestia listing and it gives the UPC as 830395035109.  Sweetie Drops's UPC is 830395034645 and Spitfire's is 830395034638 so I wonder how they matched up Sweetie Drops to the orders placed.  I also find it interesting the the other Funko Vinyls all have the same "R"Web # and Manufactuer # while the ones on the Celestia listing are different.  I wonder if Sweetie Drops and Spitfire will eventually have their own listings that match Celestia's numbers.

I called up customer service and they guarantees me that it is for six....so by that I'm guessing I should be getting them. Excited!!

So it sounds like by having them shipped to you, you might get lucky and have six ponies?  Whereas if you go in store they might say that it is only for one?

I really think they messed up something and either the price will change or the description sooner or later.

Guys don't go too overboard with this I fear that TRU won't carry funkos anymore after this if they lose a lot on these!! we might never see Celestia!

I went ahead and placed an order, and I'm hoping to get 6, but if I only get one or two that's ok because I want them regardless and would get them anyway

But yeah this is a pretty gigantic screw-up on TRU's part!
