Hello folks!
My name is Ashleigh; I am 27 and from Ontario, Canada. I work full-time in the advertising industry and have been completing some online training to earn a degree in Communications. Naturally, this keeps me pretty busy. I also attended my first, ever Pony Fair this year in Indianapolis.
Growing up I loved My Little Pony and spent many hours brushing their hair and playing with them around the house. My love of ponies was rekindled a few years ago when I discovered collector art ponies and the limited edition SDCC ponies. Being a giant nerd, limited edition toys have always appealed to me. Then the new TV series started up and I'll admit, I had my reservations; as a child of the 80s, I knew what ponies were supposed to look like and how they were meant to behave. However, a couple episodes in and I was hooked again! They really have done a fantastic job with the new series.
Currently, I collect G1 ponies, a few FIM ponies and the art collector ponies and SDCC/Limited edition ponies. Every so often I throw in one or two that I just like as well. Applejack is and has always been my favourite! She makes me heart smile.
Outside of pony collecting, I also collect a few designer toys by Tokidoki, Frank Kozik and Marvel.
