Why have I not read this book before? The Last Unicorn

I love The Neverending Story. That is another frequently overlooked book. Almost everyone my age has seen the movie, but the movie only covers about 1/3 of the book at best.

I did not like Princess Bride. My friend read me the first chapter. Some of the humor did not sit well with me. I don't like innuendo or mean humor. I think that might have been it. I never tried to read the whole thing. I love the movie, though.

I adored this movie growing up as a child. I had no idea there was a sequel to the book though, I need to look into this now! Great thread to follow! There is also a STUNNING graphic novel that released a couple years ago. The artwork is wonderful and very reminiscent of the movie.

Wait wait wait! The Neverending Story IS a book???? When I was a kid and told my mom I wanted to read that book she told me it wasn't a real book! I never thought much about it after that. Now I have to find that book!

LoL, The Neverending Story is SUCH AN AWESOME BOOK, OMG! 

LoL, I donated these books to the thrift store about a month ago...I should have saved them to trade!  Check your library, should be pretty easy to find any of them

I've never read or watched it.  I saw The Last Unicorn in the comics today at Barnes and Noble, but I was in such a hurry I didn't stop to flip through it. Someday I'll look into it!

Princess Bride is good, not so much the character the author created to frame the story.
