Kong is 20% More AWESOME

A couple of weeks ago, my dog's Kong toy got all squishy and ooey gooey.  When I touched it, rubber would come off on my fingers like it was ink.

I searched the internet to see if this had happened to anyone else, what was the cause, etc.  I found no info at all.

So I went to the Kong website and submitted my questions on a generic "Contact Us" submission form.

A couple of days later, I unexpectedly got a very thoughtful response from Gina, a Quality Systems Rep.  She offered to replace the Kong if I could send it to her.  I did.

Today a box was in the mail.  I was very confused because I wasn't expecting anything...then I saw the Kong logo.

Wow.  Okay, so Gina sent me TWO Kong toys, a toy called a Squeezz, FOUR Ziggies dog treats, and a big ole catalog with a couple of brochures.  Oh, and a very nice personal letter.

I was, and am, SO PLEASED!  Completely unexpected.  Completely wowed.  And my dog was SO happy to have a new Kong...and treats...and a new toys that squeaks!  I made a little "Thank You" video featuring my dog playing with the new toys.

I just wanted to share my experience.  It's so refreshing to have such an awesomely personal experience with someone who represents a big ole company.  Yay Kong!  Yay Gina!

I've always heard nothing but the best from Kong and their customer service   They make some of the BEST dog toys, too!  I don't know many details on it, but at least last year, Kong donated  "adoption kits" to my local animal shelter that went home with dogs as they were adopted (had toys, treats and coupons in them ).  They are a real top notch company!  So glad to hear that your dogger gets to keep enjoying his/her toys!!

Awww, that's too sweet!  I love Kongs, the dogs at our Humane Society go nuts over them.  And it's so fun watching some of the brighter dogs try to puzzle them out--one of the border collies had this amazing knack for getting treats out by tossing it up in the air or throwing it against a wall.

Awww, that's too sweet!  I love Kongs, the dogs at our Humane Society go nuts over them.  And it's so fun watching some of the brighter dogs try to puzzle them out--one of the border collies had this amazing knack for getting treats out by tossing it up in the air or throwing it against a wall.

LOL!  I've known a dog that would spread its back legs enough to be able to use a front leg to kick it backwards between its back legs to fling Kongs against harder objects.  It was a RIOT!  I love dogs   They're just the best!!

that's amazing we bought one kong toy for my dog, but she is not the chewy kind so she mostly ignores it. but it's awesome to know that they take care of their customers

That's really nice of them Our Gizmo loves his squeaky Kong ball so we got him a rugby/American football one... which he loved even more He has to have a muzzle on while walking so the behaviourist suggested he plays "muzzle-ball" by batting it around with his nose and making it sqeek. He's very good at it.

I love Kong products, it's nice to hear that they took your problem seriously and provided such great customer service.  The world needs more companies like that.

Thats pretty cool. My dog refuses to play with Kong toys though...
