I love these they give me so many ideas on rescuing great ponies with bad hair!

yes indeed, this thread has made me turn around and take ponies i wasn't that interested in my bait/trade box and make them into ponies i actualy like and hair colour a prefer ....................and hasbro should have done

I have one hairless Pina Colada.. I can't decide if I should rehair her with original colour or go with something new. I have no idea what colours to use though.

I actually have a hard time with many of the TE ponies... I really like a lot of their original factory colors. Maybe change one or two stripes for some of them, but when I get a TE bait, I have to let it sit bald for a while before I can start seeing it outside the box... Like, right now I have a Wizzer who is waiting for new hair... just looking for something new because she's REALLY one who I LOVE her original colors...

I hear ya on that! The TEs have some great hair already. I did a TE rehair for my swap partnwr and am dyyyying to post her!

I tried to play around with Wizzer last night but I got nowhere. DANG I like hre original colors so much. Half the time I think many of the TE's would look better with original colors but just LONGER hair like they get when they're rehaired...

I also finishes these two gals. They have both been around for a while...

Deflocked Taffy - she came to me with about 1/2 her mane buzzed. Once I deflocked her, I just... wasn't satisfied rehairing her to her original colors, so I kind of made her hair look like her taffy candy symbols - with a brighter streak, and light pink hair.

Cherry Sweet - I bought this gal forever ago, she was totally buzzed down. I really like her, but always thought her original hair color was too brash for her, so all I did was tone it down the way I think she should've been from factory!

I also finally finished a "road block" of a pony last night. I've had a Princess BnG Star Gleamer in my bait drawer for over a year. She's another one with very basic design, not much color to work with, and had very "matchy" original hair colors.
I went so outside the box, I don't know what to think of what I did...

I've got to glue her head on (with that BnG mechanism I don't know of another way to remove their heads except clean off?) and then style her... but, I dunno. That one I WILL want your guys' critiques on... because I want to know if I'm just so out there... lol

Lucky lady!! I just found a NBBE Baby Cuddles at the thrift store today (pretty amazing since I never find any G1's). She has a tail chop and some staining soooo I have another rehair bait
Right now I'm kinda stuck until mail comes in, I have a few baits but no hair for them and for the hair I have I have no baits yet

Hahah that's always my problem Starflower - either I have a lot of baits on hand and I'm low on hair (for them) or the opposite...

But congrats on your score!! I love Baby Cuddles, I can't wait to see what you choose to rehair her with!

My Star Gleamer is dry finally, just have to take photos a little later...
