Oh Snapdragon! That Bear with the blue saddle is Ursa- she is a Moondreamer and was designed by the same team that worked on MLP!  (There is a lion too)

I'm SO happy to have this girl! I missed out on getting her on ebay months ago and saw that Colorscapesart had her for sale.
Is she the same one..? is this a normal fakie from some kind of set..? her head and body both have the same pink polka dots but they seem to be made out of different materials. Someone please enlighten me!

Milkshake did not start out with such a stark head/body mismatch. 

I got all these ponies when they came out (except Blueberry and Raspberry who are wicked rare) and there was some head-body mismatch that was noticeable (like MLP) but it wasn't nearly so obvious as the picture above.  As time goes on, the head-body mismatch has become greater (the white disappeared).  The heads of the other ponies faded too but this is the worst one.  Also about 50% of my Bandai SSC dolls from that time, WENT BALD.  Bandai did not do a great job with that line... (the dolls and ponies were really cute and detailed but dolls should not go bald)

I have a nice bunch of fakies for trade / swap and would love to participate, but Im afraid of a partner´s wantlist as many fakies dont have official names and such (or names are unknown to many of the sellers at ebay) so it might get very complicated to search for certain ones. Im a little torn on this... :/ It would break my heart not to make my partner happy .

Found this fakie at a local consignment shop. Can anyone tell me anything about her? She is a Lanard 1997, but the interwebz is failing me in terms of any real info. Thanks

1997 is the mold date, similar to MLP - she'd be a few years after that, although she was among the first releases of that mold, I believe she is one of the earlier '3rd gen' party ponies. (the generations are purely my way of organising lanards, not any official/collector scale) These sets were very erratic, coming as singles, family sets or playsets, in no real rhythm or reason, so they are hard to track down or collect without any real 'complete list', There's just so many colours, symbols and poses. Way back in the day, I went by backcards, but there was always different ponies popping up that were never on them!

Lol I have accumulated a few over the years! Mlp were so hard to come by for quite a few years, so lanards were my go-to ponies! I have a few 'vintage', the entire 2nd gen of party ponies, including the baby hearts variant, and a few from the third and fourth 'generations'. I know the least about the 4th, as I went back to Mlp during that time, and I found the quality of lanards to have slipped a bit.
