New Pony Friends- Before & After pics!

Hello everyone!

I recently bought four much-wanted ponies from eBay for good prices. I could tell from the pictures that they were going to be dirty, but I wasn't expecting them to be as filthy as they turned out to be! I'll tell you though, it was lots of fun cleaning them up. I know a lot of you like to see before and after pictures, so here it goes!

BEFORE
These are the first three: the Bride, Surprise, and Medley. Bride came with her veil which is clearly a mess! I'm working on that now. Anyone got any tips on cleaning the veil? Anyway, as you can see, the ponies have visible dirt and messy hair.

Some close-ups of poor Bride. She had a layer of brown ick all over her and her scent was enough to make me feel sick to my stomach!

But I think the ickiest of all was Sky Rocket. I was kind of glad she (or actually HE, as I'm pretending he's a colt!) had cut hair. I don't know why, but I think the short hair looks nice on Sky Rocket. His sides were sticky and and he too had brown smears all over him.

You would have to see them in person to know how bad they truly were!

AFTER
I'm glad to say that all the ponies cleaned up well.
Medley. All I really had to do with her was scrub some scuffs and wash her hair. Even after a good wash, she somehow carries the scent of a new pony.

Surprise had some crayon marks here and there which were difficult to scrub out. Her hair was curly before, so it became a little puffy after washing. I may style it in the near future!

Bride cleaned very nicely! I was so happy to see she was white underneath the brown. Her hair is full of nice tinsel. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

And here is my one picture of Sky Rocket! I actually had to clean him inside and out! He got a little hair trim and wash too.

Wow. They cleaned up really well.  I found an Alt Birthflower Cosmos recently who was filthy but under the grime she turned out to be mint!  It's always exciting to see a pony returned to it's former beauty.  Congrats
