10th anniversary + a wonderful birthday surprise!

So, today is my birthday, but that in itself is nothing too important to me. What is important is that today marks a 10th anniversary since I became vegetarian!! It was my first adult decision (I was patiently waiting to turn 18) and it's the best decision i've ever made!

Also, my mom and husband went to this store here in Iceland that we found out sometimes stocks Serbian (where I'm from) food stuffs, and they bought me a surprise present of some of my favourite sweets!!! You guys have no idea how much this means to me. Serbian sweets are the only thing I really miss about living there (apart from friends and family ofc) and I have resigned myself to the idea that I will never have them here, BUT NOW I DO!!

I'm so ridiculously happy about something so trivial so I had to share ^^

Thanks everyone! The only downside is that I have a thesis deadline for Friday so I will spend a good portion of the day stressed and working, but hey, that's also a good sign, I finally am actually doing my thesis :Þ I might even finish it

Thank you everyone!! I've been thoroughly spoiled by my favourite food made by Mr. V and cake made by my mom, and tonight it's crepes time!
