Craigslister won't ship, Chesire CT - Anyone up for a Mission?

Hello Friends,

A couple of members have told me they've gotten some help like this before, so I figured it be worth a shot, I'm desperate...so I'm leaving no leaf unturned (I'm sure you've all been there before).

THE MISSION:

I found a littlest pet shop suppertime guppy set that I have been searching endlessly for, I'm consumed by this search, my house is a mess and my Family misses me.

The set was discovered on Craigslist amongst a small lot of other various petshop items for 125.00. I sent a message to the seller and asked if she'd sell just the guppy set, she replied ....YES, for 15.00 she would have no problem doing it!!!!! Yaaaay, woot-woot!!!

THE OBSTACLE:

Problem is....she won't ship. I tried EVERYTHING, from offering to send her a prepaid return envelope, to actually driving to her.....but after her 1st and only response, I lost her....she won't respond at all.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: 

The listing is still posted. I thought maybe someone from that area could send her an inquiry and try to get me that guppy set!  I would pay you for your time, or compensate you with goodies you might like!

If anyone can carry out MISSION SUPPERTIME GUPPY SET FROM MS. NON SHIPPER, you will be rewarded for your efforts.

Hi Friends!

I couldn't find my post so that's why I have not replied. I see it was moved. I was advised to place it in the Off Topic Forum but perhaps that was the wrong spot.

So, girlyponce has contacted me and offered to carry out the mission. I sent her a few details and I'm waiting for her response. I hope all is okay and this works out???? Please keep your fingers crossed for me! I'm holding my breath now, sooo nervous!  I don't want to loose this item. I can't deal with another loss!!!!

I need to contact the lady to let her know what's going on, I don't want to overwhelm her and scare her away for ever, so I'm treading lightly. I DID tell her I reached out via this forum for help (by the way, she's responded a few times since my original post).  The plan now is to meet on Interstate 84 in mid-August....hopefully this plan changes!

PS:  What does a Bump mean?

You can find your own topics in under your 'profile' tab It sure comes in handy so now and then!

And bump means that the topic will be on top of the forum again. If someone replies then it's more visible again and then you'll likely get a response

Bring Up My Post - Bump. Bounces it up the line-up so it gets seen sooner.
Or Seen Again. If a A Topic goes 6 months or longer with out no activity the Topic will get locked. And you wont be able to reply to it again. You would have to make a new topic again. I may be wrong so please correct me if Im wrong someone?

Also you can see your Posts under your profile and the ones your following To The SHOW NEW REPLIES TO MY POST button next to your picture. I hope this helps. You probley should read all the rules, some of them show how to do stuff. The more your on here you will get the hang of it

I have sent this Women a gazillion emails, and she WON'T respond!! This is killing me!  I feel like she's only an arm reach away from at least 2 Awesome Members who have tried to help me (I can't even get FAMILY members to help me out with things as quickly as my new bunch of Friends here have). 

I think that's what's SO FRUSTRATING - You guys might be right behind this lady at the grocery store, I mean...that's how close I am!! I just need her to reply!!  Apparently she only checks her email 2 times per week...but I'm not sure which days those are, or if those days change.....Anyway, I just wanted to update you all....I'm STILL trying to get through to this lady!!

For another perspective... I have someone doing the same to me, but I'm the seller.   

Maybe she really doesn't want to deal with you if you've been sending her emails multiple times a day for an answer.  For everyone's safety, Craigslist and the other sites make it very very clear, it's a  "local classified, pay in-person, with cash".   If this person emailed me to tell me they had a middleman lined up, I really would be concerned about stalking.
