My pound puppy collection

HI there!! I hope this is ok to post here, since its not my little pony. I have been collecting pound puppies for over 20 years. I have recently really started to hunt for them again! I have added so many new ones, and other items I thought some of you might like to see. These are just quick pictures, I can take better one if someone really wants to see something better. I have a lot more things in the mail, but I coulnt resist posting now!!

UPDATE - I just took new pictures, and I am shocked to see how much my collection has grown!!! I still cant find some of my clothes which is disappointing!!!

My all time favorites!! My Rumpleskins!! I believe I have a complete Tonka collection. I have a Tonka grey rumpleskins, and a Hornby one. The crème one is super special to me. My best childhood friend gave her to me when he was growing up and no longer cared for his stuffed animals. I have kept her all these years, and he passed away two days before his birthday from cystic fibrosis. Oddly enough his birthday was on Christmas day, so that year sucked. I cant bear to wash her off. I took her with me to his funeral too.

I love Pound Puppie/kittie/bunnies/piggies! maybe you could answer a Q for me. I found a bunch of teeny tiny baby bunnies and could,t reaiat them, but in the bag was a PP who had, like, a hidden button on his back and when you push it his ears flap up and down! It's precious, but I was wondering what his tye was called? Thank you so much (and I especially love the piggies)

I am familiar with the bunny family, but not the dog? I have never seen a pound puppy like that before??? Do you have a picture? Are you sure its a real pound puppy? Hum... im perplexed!!!! I would love a picture!

Oh Gorgeous! I had a black pound puppy with a velcro opening in her tummy and she had 3 puppies with her.  I loved her so much and slept with her every night. I was at a girls boarding school in the 80s and pound puppies were "the thing" to have - everyone had one to cuddle at night!

Aww, I remember having a few Pound Puppies when I was little. I loved them back then but looking at them now makes me a little sad. Those eyes just melt my heart!

HI there!! Thank you so much!!! I will try take more in depth pictures of everything since these are so cramped in.  I do have a zebra!!!  I think they were called the zoo family? I have a monkey, a white tiger, a Bengal tiger, two different elephants. There were all kinds of these little guys made. I have a Christmas puppy set with little antlers on them!!  Those ones were released in the 90's. They were the G2 of my little pony.

I would just die for a pound yuppie from the UK!! I have been told stories about the mommy with a zipper in her belly for her pups. The only thing pound puppies had like that were called barkers. But there zipper held a electronic component that made them bark and make other dog noises!

There are puppies from the UK that have glasses and whiskers like an old man!! Like a grandpa dog! Oh, how much I would love one of those!

I would love some pound puppies from Canada or the UK, but shipping is a killer!!!  If you go to second hand stores you can find them pretty easily, that's where a lot of mine came from.  But, it always seems to be the Hardees premiums. These puppies and kitties have a red satin collar on them. This collar does not have a bow, or Velcro, and it cannot be removed.

The rarest and hardest to find is the adult grey rumpleskin made by Tonka. I had one that I paid 100$ for years ago, but my dogs ate his eyes off. I recently got one with a BIN of 30$ from ebay and I was soo happy!!! Now, I see them all over the place and for very low prices, and I even saw a MIB one!! There value must have really dropped off. Not that they held high values to begin with.

I also recently picked up a beautiful and complete MIB pound puppy from Canada. I will need to take a nice picture of him. The same seller had another one but I just missed out by a hair!!! I was so disappointed!!!

Anyways!! It means so much for everyone's kind words and thoughts!! I have worked really hard to obtain, clean and preserve these guys!! I have gotten away from collecting my little ponies and am totally focused on my pound puppies. As a matter of interest I have a wanted post and for sale post here on the arena. I would love to trade your pound puppies for my My little pony stuff!!!
