Ponies won't let me go...ever!

Hi there, I'm new to this community...just like you might have guessed!

I'm a 28 year collector from Germany and started my addiction way back in the 80's. I loved (and still do) My little Pony and had tons and tons of them.
Unfortunately my (grand)parents gave them all away when I was a bit older ...well, I hope the kids who got them, had fun with them as much as I had.
I never thought about ponies much until a dear friend of mine re-introduced me to them. I thought it won't hurt to get just one nice pony (Sugar Apple) on ebay. And that's how my addiction started again .

I collect mostly ponies I had back then or some I ever wanted to own.
My favorites are the TE ponies, Rainbow Curl Ponies, Sweetberry Ponies, Cookery Ponies etc.
One of my favorite ponies is Sweet Stuff because she reminds me off myself a lot. I always try to do my best and I'm a bit clumsy ...

I like how your addiction got started.  It's almost impossible to stop at one pony and before you know it your house will be over-run with colourful plastic!  Enjoy the forums

  I see we have some favorites in common! TE and Swetberries, I recently completed my sets of those in the last few yrs! Love them

Welcome to "ponyland" that is what I call it here and refer to it as! It's much fun and I wish you the best in your search for the ponies you had as a child and the ones you always wanted, that is mostly what I do as well.

You're right, I'm busy recollecting my favorites from the childhood and/or completing sets (because I was not allowed to have them all or they were not available in Germany).
At the moment I'm looking for Seaflower because she's the only Sunshine Pony I'm missing to complete this set.

oh most of this does sound familiar 

it gets worse wait till you get the "I will just finish the set" or the "I really do not like that set i will not buy any from it.......but on the other hand they are really cute"
